Als verzamelaar van Groningse verhalen, voorvechtster voor vrouwenrechten en knipkunstenaar verdient zij zeker die aandacht.
Herinner mij dat de eerste drukken van haar boeken in de vitrine lagen en dat ik ze af en toe mocht doorbladeren met in mijn hoofd: ‘koop ik ze wel, of koop ik ze niet’.
De nabestaanden van Siebrand hebben Dorcas in Appingedam gevraagd de winkel in Ten Boer leeg te halen, het was een hele klus maar het is half Juli 2021 afgerond. Dorcas Appingedam is heel blij met de enorme hoeveelheid spullen die opgehaald mochten worden.
